This Privacy Policy explains how TC Home Buyers LLC, an Illinois limited liability company (“TC Home Buyers,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and shares information through this website. This website is used solely to recruit independent contractor sales representatives. It applies to visitors and to people who submit an application. It is part of our Terms of Service.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us in your application:

Contact details: first and last name, phone number, and email address.
Profile details: your age, the state you live in, and your Instagram profile link.
Your answers to our screening questions, such as your equipment, availability, current job status and job title, sales experience, what matters most to you in work, and how you heard about us.
Your consent choices, including your agreement to these terms and to receive texts and calls, and the date and time you gave them.

Information collected automatically: When you visit, we and our service providers may collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, the referring website or ad, and the date and time of your visit, using cookies, pixels, and similar technologies. If you watch an embedded video, the video provider may collect information under its own policy.

Information from other sources: We may review public information on social media profiles you share with us, and information from people who referred you.

What we do not collect: We do not ask for and do not want Social Security numbers, bank or payment information, or health information through this website. We do not collect biometric identifiers or biometric information (such as face geometry or voiceprints) through this website. Please do not submit sensitive information that we have not asked for.

3. How we use your information

To review and evaluate your application and decide whether to move forward.
To contact you by text, phone, and email about your application, interviews, and the opportunity.
To manage our recruiting process and keep records of applications and consent.
To measure and improve our website and recruiting ads, including understanding which ads and channels bring in applicants.
To protect our website and business, prevent fraud and spam, and enforce our Terms.
To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

We do not use automated decision-making alone to make final decisions about your application.

4. Text messages and calls

If you agree, we and our service providers may send you text messages and make calls about your application, including through automated technology. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts at any time, or HELP for help. You can also opt out by emailing us.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers that help us deliver messages to you.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for third parties’ own marketing. We share information only as follows:

Service providers that help us operate, such as our website and CRM host, form and messaging providers, phone and email providers, and analytics and advertising measurement tools. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
Advertising platforms such as Meta, TikTok, and Google may receive technical information through pixels or similar tools on this site, to help us measure and improve our recruiting ads. You can limit this through your browser and device settings and those platforms’ ad preference tools.
Legal and safety reasons: when we believe it is required by law, subpoena, or court order, or needed to protect our rights, property, or safety or those of others.
Business transfers: in connection with a merger, sale, financing, or reorganization of all or part of our business.
With your permission or at your direction.

6. Cookies and tracking

You can set your browser to block or delete cookies. Some features may not work properly if you do. Our site does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals.

7. How long we keep information

We keep application information for as long as needed to evaluate your application, keep records of consent, consider you for future openings, and meet legal, accounting, and record-keeping requirements. We then delete or de-identify it.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You submit information at your own risk.

9. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information you submitted, or to stop contacting you, by emailing us at the address below. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, such as the right to know what information we hold, to request deletion or correction, and not to be discriminated against for using these rights. We will verify your request before acting on it, may keep information where the law requires or allows us to, and will respond within the time the law requires. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows.

10. Age requirement

This website is intended only for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.

11. Where we process information

We are based in the United States, and your information is stored and processed in the United States. This site is intended for applicants located in the United States.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy by posting the new version on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
